So, as you can tell from the last post date compared to this one, I’ve been neglecting my blog like a red headed step chi…..I’ve been neglecting it.
Sorry for those that were actually following it….I’ve been busy…really busy.
I was reminded from a friend that I needed to update a past post (which I’m not going to do at this moment) but it also nudged me to post something…even if it is just a cheesy “I’m sorry for neglecting the blogosphere” type post.
I think the barter system is a lost art. It’s a shame really. You need something I have, I need something you have, let’s make a deal. Why does everything have to have a monetery value when simple trade benefits all?
Nothing is better for coding than music that makes you feel like your
wearing all purples. That is all.
This weekend was a pretty nice one. Gabe and I hung out on Saturday and played some megaman 9. Well, I played, he watched and danced to the retro background music. I have to say that for $10, megaman 9 is just awesome. It’s 100% retro-fitted megaman with the old school graphics and music….oh and it’s so ridiculously difficult, it totally reminds me of the original. I have Scott as proof of this as his exact words were “did you have me play this so that I bleed from my eyeballs?” to which I replied “Yes.”.
Saturday night I had Scott and Jason over and we watched UFC 100. I don’t usually get ppv events, but Mac said that I should order it and have a few friends over..and when the wife says that I should order something and have friends over, well, you do it…right? Now I don’t know if there were any other motives behind this suggestion other than George St. Pierre fighting (whom happens to be an object of affection for her), but either way, worth it. It was a good night.
Sunday was a typical Sunday. Mac and I took care of some neglected yardwork and watched a couple movies. All in all - good weekend.
